I'm off this year!

Hello,

So it's this year that I'll leave the UK and move to Honduras for a year, and I'm quite looking forward to it!

In December, we did a reasonable amount of cycling given the weather, but for the first time we didn't hit the target of 530 miles. Yet our average is still about 550 miles per month so we're still ahead of the target. It doesn't look like we'll be out on the road much in the next few weeks given the weather forecast, so we'll be on the turbo trainer quite a lot!

On Christmas Eve, along with my friends Robbie, Ben, Dan and James; Mum, Jack, Luke and I went to a local supermarket to spend the morning bag packing. A big thanks to Sainsbury's in Ferndown for accommodating us so well. We raised a fantastic £469 which was counted in the afternoon and then sent up to Coll to Project Trust. I've also had a few more family donations so thank you very much if you have donated, but if not then you can visit my Virgin Giving page here http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/SamNeill1 and whatever you could give would be greatly appreciated!

In a few weeks I'm off the Castlepoint to finalise the details for our 500 miles on static bikes there in May, so it'll be good to sort that out.

I had a great Christmas with my family and was given many gifts that will be used in Honduras, and it was nice to see everyone over the Christmas period.

Thanks again to everyone who has donated so far, and for reading my blog...

Sam
